

Old Testament
Focusing on the first part of the Christian Bible, this section explores the ancient texts, narratives, laws, and prophetic writings of Judaism and Christianity, examining the historical context and theological significance of events and characters from Genesis to Malachi.
Genesis One

​This module covers the time period from the fall of Adam and Eve to the birth and ministry of Enoch the righteous. When God provided a coat of skin to Adam and Eve, He displayed both his righteous judgment and His never-failing mercy. The events in the garden of Eden examine the doctrine of sin and salvation. The sacrifice of Cain and Abel is studied extensively, while the murder of Abel by Cain is also examined.
Genesis Two

This module focuses specifically on the life and ministry of Noah and the events after the flood which led to the building of the Tower of Babel. The circumstances surrounding Noah are compared to the second coming of Jesus, and the Ark is examined as a typology of Christ, our Saviour. The history of all false religions is traced from the tower of Babel, describing how worship became corrupt.
Kings One

In this module, the student will cover the life and ministry of King Solomon, King Rehoboam, and King Abijah. The victories and the failures of these kings are examined in detail. The manner in which their actions and choices shaped Israel's life and future are also studied in the light of God's redemptive plan for the nation of Israel.
Kings Two

This module focuses on the life and times of King Asa. King Asa is seen as one of the great reformers of Israel, a King that restored godly worship and righteous living and brought revival to Israel. However, King Asa also fell into sin. Pride and stubbornness were the downfalls of this great King. Lessons in the life of King Asa are examined and studied.
Elijah

The prophet Elijah prayed, and heaven's windows burst with rain. He prayed another time, and fire fell from the sky. Again, he prayed, and a dead boy was raised to life again. But Elijah, the great prophet, also ran away in fear from the wicked Jezebel. This module covers the life and ministry of this great prophet while also examining his successes and also his fears.
Jonah

At Sunday school level, we learn about Jonah and the great fish. However, in this module at Bible school level, we focus on Jonah and His Great God. the module focuses on the mercy and grace of God shown to both Jonah and the Ninevites. We also examine God's faithfulness to His servants and love for those others may despise because of their backsliding.
